Wegovy® 2.4 mg (semaglutide) FlexTouch® is the maintenance dose of the standard semaglutide titration protocol. In the STEP clinical trials, patients receiving 2.4 mg weekly achieved a mean body weight reduction of approximately 15% over 68 weeks. Discontinuation of therapy is associated with weight regain. Each single-use FlexTouch® pen contains four weekly doses (one month of therapy), administered as a subcutaneous injection once every seven days.
